Katasraj Hindu Temple

Katasraj Mandir in Punjab, Pakistan
Visited in December 2013

A Hindu temple complex and an important pilgrimage site, built around the 6th century AC. There are also remains of a Buddhist Stupa and a few other ancient temples.
The circular sequential spaces inside the temple are intriguing. The holes on facades are not only for natural light & ventilation but also for channel to attack the invaders.
